Chapter 24-26

I raised my eyebrow to Diamond as I was left with a brown box with a top in my hands. I quickly took the top of and tossed it. I looked in the box and instantly started to smile, “You didn’t?!” She nodded, “Oh yes I did babe!” I reached in the box and pulled out a white fedora that had two different colored ribbons sitting underneath it. It took my black and grey fedora off and set it on the table along with the box. I took the white one out and put it on my head and smiled, it was a perfect fit. She walked up to me and reached up to my head, she tilted it down to the left side doing it just like I wear it. “You forgot this.” she said smiling. I guess she had remembered what I taught her about it months ago. I grabbed her hands, “Thanks babe I love it.” “I’m glad.” I wanted to lean in and kiss her, but I knew we would start making out. I decided I would wait till’ we got upstairs for all of that. My mom came over and put a hand on each of our shoulders, “I don’t mean to ruin the mood but, it’s almost 1 A.M. and we all have a long day tomorrow.” she said looking back and forth between us.

I looked down to my watch with Diamond’s hand still in mine, “Yeah and I need my rest.” She smiled and turned to leave, “Alright you two sleep tight.” I tuned back to Diamond as I heard her walking up the stairs. “You ready to go up?” I said nodding over to them. She nodded and we started to pick up the wrappings from my present that I tore apart. I put my other fedora in the box that I had took the new one out of and threw it underneath my arm. We both made our way upstairs and I dropped the box right as I went in the door. Diamond came in behind me and closed the door and before she could turn on the light I grabbed her arms and put them behind her. I held them while I pulled myself towards her. I gently started kissing on her neck and using my tongue when needed, I really wanted her right now. “Bru..” she said holding in a moan. “Yeah babe?” I said starting to grind against her. “I love you so much..” she said softly. I stopped everything I was doing and let her arms go. She turned to me her eyes looking sad. When she seen me staring at her she looked down. I grabbed her chin and pulled it back up to my face, “And I love you way more then that.”

When I wasn’t expecting it she leaned in and kissed me and I felt her pain. I moved my hands back to her hips and slowly rubbed her back. As we unlocked she finally smiled. “Hey.. that’s what I was looking for.” She shook her head and looked up to my hat, “When are you going to take that off?” I raised my eyebrow, “Never.. I’ll fuck you in this hat if I have too.” She laughed a bit and pushed against my chest, “You don’t have too.” I leaned in and kissed her this time and things started to move fast. “Bruno.” she said pushing away from me. “What?” I said frowning a bit, I was in the zone. She shook her head, “We can’t your family is here..” “Come on babe.. it’s not like we haven’t when they we’re here before..” She shrugged and looked away, “But still.. I can’t be quiet.” I took a deep breath and dropped my head, I was kind of disappointed. I had a feeling that this wasn’t the reason why, I knew she had a lot of her mind. “Bru.. don’t be disappointed, just plan another time like you did before..” she said walking away from me. “Alright babe..” I said taking off my hat and setting it on the nightstand gently. I stripped down to my underwear and crawled into bed.

I started to change into my PJ’s and get my mind ready for sleep. I really didn’t mean to disappoint him because tonight was a perfect night to do things, but.. I just wasn’t feeling it. My dad was on my mind almost non-stop and when I did it with him, I wanted to give him my all. I was hoping that he understood that. After I was done changing I looked over to him in the bed. He smiled and patted the space next to him. I went over and snuggled in next to him and he wrapped his arms around me, “You know.. you’re being really strong..” he whispered. I shook my head, “Not as strong as I want to be..” He shifted his position in the bed a bit so that he was right in my face, “Can I tell you something babe?” I nodded unsure of what he had to say. “Well.. I also know how it feels to deal with something like this so suddenly you know. I mean you know it’s coming, but you don’t know when to expect it.” he said nodding his head a bit. “Bruno.. I just didn’t get to say goodbye..” I said trying to hold in my tears. I had been crying all day and soon I was sure that I was going to run out. “Aww.. babe..” he said pulling me closer to him. That did it, I just let it out anyway.

“Shh.. I promise it’ll get better..” he whispered. I knew it would, but right now it just hurted like hell. I felt so bad because I hadn’t been to see him in months. “When I lost my grandpa.. it hurted.. a lot.” he said breaking up his words. I remembered that day and I had never seen Bruno so quiet. It was just like apart of him was gone forever. “And the only way that I got out the pain was by writing..” I remembered the song Never Say You Can’t that he wrote years ago, and how passion and pain he put into it. Sadly, I could relate to that song so much now. He pulled me up from his chest and wiped my tears, “I know it hurts babe, but it hurts me even more to see you cry.. I swear.” I smiled a bit as he said that and he kissed me softly. “We are going to make it threw this alright? Me and you.” I nodded, “Thanks so much Bru..” He took me into his arms again and rested his chin on top of my head, “No.. thank you.” I sat there thinking for awhile before Bruno’s calling of my name took me out of my thoughts. “Yes?” “Merry Christmas.” I smiled, “Same to you..”

December 25th, 2010 (Christmas Day)

Today couldn’t get any more amazing. Nothing in the world compared to seeing everyone’s smiling faces while they opened their gifts. Especially the kids, I couldn’t wait for the day I would watch my kids open their gifts. I took so many pictures of Bruno in his new Hawaiian robe that one of his sisters had got him, he said that he would wear it everywhere now. I am so looking forward to that. Bruno told me that he had another gift for me but, when I asked him about it, he said it was private. I was guessing it was something to do with sex, but with him who knows. Bruno went out with his Uncle Johnny to pick up a couple of things from the store that we had forgot about when we went. I decided that it was the perfect time for me to write a journal because tonight I might be a little busy. WINK WINK.

I talked to my mom again today and she’s doing a lot better then yesterday. I told her about what Bruno said and she told me that I was one lucky girl to have someone as special as him in my life. She told me that in a way he reminded her of my father. I think that is one reason why I loved Bruno so much, no matter what he was always positive and he was a perfectionist. Everything had to be right, and it had to be beautiful, nothing less. My mom told me about funeral arrangements and it made my stomach cringe. Funerals we’re always one thing I hated, I understand that we need to give everyone a proper way to leave this world, but I didn’t like the idea of it. I just felt really cold whenever I attended one. And now that it would be for someone so close to me as my father it makes me just about want to throw up. But, my dad deserves it and if that means I have to face my fears then so be it.

“Babe.. don’t you think you need to slow down on the cocktails?” Bruno said coming over to me. I shook my head, “Maybe you should have one with me instead of counting..” I said looking up to him. He came over and pulled a chair out in front of me and sat in it backwards. He rested his chin on his hands and just stared at me with those beautiful eyes. “Bruno.. don’t look at me like that..” I said looking away. “Why not.. you can’t handle it?” he said softly. “No.. I really can’t.” I said smiling. I listened to his family laugh and sing outside on the patio. I finally looked back at him. “You don’t wanna go out there?” he said nodding over to the door. I shrugged, “I mean I just came from out there.. and I kind of got a headache..” “It’s from those..” he said pointing to my drink. I rolled my eyes, “Don’t you start..” He backed up, “Hey hey.. I’m not trying to run you.. do ya’ thang.” I laughed, “Alright then..” He put on a sly smile, “You know what.. maybe I should have a drink too..”

“If that’s what floats your boat.” I said shrugging. He kept the sly smile on his face as he got up and went into the kitchen. I set there listening to random conversations while he made his drink. He came back with a huge glass of what I hoped was dancing juice. “All right.. toast with me?” he said holding it out. “Sure.” I said smiling and putting my drink out to his. We lightly tapped our glasses together and drank from them. Of course even after I was done he was still chugging on. “Hey don’t drink that, that fast!” I said warning him. “Why not?” he said as he stopped for air. “Because.. that’s how you get drunk so fast..” He set his drink of the table, “If you’re going to get drunk.. then I’m gonna be right there along with you.” I laughed, so he wanted to play this game…..

I licked my lips as Diamond put her head into mine. I stared into her eyes and held the chair keeping myself from falling over. I shook my head, “We drank too much.” She laughed, “I don’t think enough..” “Are you testing me?” I said raising a eyebrow. She finally leaned up and looked back over to our glasses on the table. I got the hint and picked mine back up. I knew for a fact that I was well over my limit, but I couldn’t stop. “1.. 2.. 3.. go!” I said before I started to chugg on my drink again. She did the same and I turned my head to watch her out of my eye. We both just stared at each other until surprisingly I ran out of breath and stopped before her. I choked a bit as I pulled the glass from my lips. She stopped drinking and wiped her mouth as she laughed, “Oh my god.. I beat you!” I shook my head, “That’s the only time.. that will happen trust me..” “And why do you think that?” she said as I put my glass back on the table. I grabbed the bottom on my chair and scooted it closer to her, “I know some shit.” She laughed and waved me off, “Oh that’s right you’re Bruno Mars..” I frowned, “You making fun of me?” She laughed, “No Bru..”

We continued on talking and sipping on our drinks for about 15 more minutes. I could tell in Diamond’s eyes that she was far gone. It got quiet for a minute or so and I just observed her. She quickly looked over to me and bent her head down a bit, “Bru.. I gotta secret..” she whispered. I dropped my arms to my side and leaned in as well, “I won’t tell it.” She looked around both ways and then bit her lip, “I’m horny.” I smirked, “I can do something about that if you want me too.” “Please baby..” she said sending chills down my spine. I slowly got up staring her in the eyes trying to keep my balance. As, I got up and pushed my chair in the alcohol hit me. I grabbed my head and winced a bit, “Damn.” I whispered to myself. Diamond got up stumbling a bit as well, I put my arm around her started for the stairs. I peered out the side door to see my family busy singing, dancing, and just enjoying themselves. I pushed Diamond up the stairs in front of me. As we got to the top she turned around and grabbed me by the collar of my shirt   and started kissing me wildly. I kissed her back as hard as I could as I reached down and pulled at her shorts, they needed to come off.

“Bruno.. please..” she moaned against my lips making me harder then I already was. I quickly stopped kissing, grabbed her arm and pulled her into my room. I closed the door behind us and locked it. I watched her start to take her shirt off slowly as I was troubled with the button on my jeans. “Fuck..” I said to myself. I looked back up to her coming towards me biting her lip, I did the same. She reached down and moved my hands away, “I got it..” she said unbuttoning my jeans way faster then I did. She dropped to her knees as she pulled my jeans down. I reached down and lifted my shirt up and watched her as she looked up to me. Without saying anything she pulled my boxers down and started to lick me not bothering to grab it. I watched her and put my hand back on the wall bracing myself so that I wouldn’t fall. She suddenly grabbed me and took me in her mouth. I didn’t give you enough.. but, this one is what I was supposed to give you all day. I smiled from ear to ear, “Let’s see it.”

Chapter 26

I watched her as she went over to the corner of the room and went threw her bags. I quickly got up and ran over to my suitcase, I also had another gift for her as well. We both met back in the middle of the room with our hands behind our backs. We both just smiled, “You go first.” I said. She shook her head, “Nope you first.” I took a deep breath, “Alright..” I pulled the small case from behind my back slowly, making sure that I didn’t drop it. “I need your hand.. put your present on the bed.” I said as I started to open the box. She slowly took a couple of steps over and put her present on the bed not taking her eyes off the box. As she came back I opened it slowly. She put her hand over her mouth as she looked down to the two rings in the box. I took hers out and started to slide it onto her right index finger, “These rings represent our love… where ever we go, if we’re far apart.. and you’re lonely.. this will keep our love strong.” I looked back up to her and I could see her smile behind her hand. I took my ring out of the box and slipped it onto my hand as well. I took our hands together with the rings on them, “And look.. can you read this.” I said moving our hands up to her face. She squinted her eyes a bit as she tried to read it, “It says.. let us.. fall.. in love.. all over again..” She looked back to me and I loved the look in her eyes.

I shook my head a bit, “Bruno.. I love you..” He blinked a couple of times, “I love you.. more..” I couldn’t put into words how much our love had grown over the years, it was almost unreal. I snapped myself back to my thoughts, “Alright my turn.” I said trying to hold back my tears. I reached over onto the bed for the gift, “Mine isn’t amazing as yours.. but you know..” “Babe.. I’d appreciate anything alright?” he said cutting me off. I took a deep breath, “Alright Bru.” I opened the box slowly in front of him, I really didn’t know how he would react. He looked down to it trying to read it. “I got help from your mom on this one..” I said smiling and watching him. “Awww babe.. I love you too.” he said smiling. I was guessing he could read it. He took his time taking it out of the box and putting it on his neck. He touched the small charm, “I love it.” We both leaned in a kissed each other and before I knew it, we we’re back at it.

December 27th, 2010

Today isn’t a really good day for me. For the last two days I’ve been in the house packing up and recovering from my horrible hangover. I still don’t even remember anything from Christmas night but, Bruno keeps reassuring me that nothing crazy happened. I don’t know how considering how sore I was. I found out that we would be having my father’s funeral in two days, so me and Bruno would be on the next flight out of here to L.A. in the morning. I really don’t want to leave at all. I would know exactly how Bruno feels with his family living way over here in Hawaii. I would have to come back, very very soon. Bruno is going out to gig with his Uncle tonight and since I had already been a couple of times before I wanted to let his last time be by himself. I would spend my last night with the rest of his family. They we’re all such amazing people.

The presents that Bruno got me for Christmas this year are beyond better then the ones from previous years. I was almost scared for next year. But, I had to live for today as Bruno always told me. I was just praying that I made it threw this funeral. Oh my god.

“Yeah she’s taking it a little better everyday..” I said as I tuned my guitar. “Well.. you just be there for her.. help her out as much as possible.” he said messing around with the microphone. I looked back down to my guitar, “I am.. I always will.” We continued on doing a small sound check before people start to fill up the bar. My Uncle Johnny introduced me as good as always and seen a couple of familiar faces from high school and around from when I was younger. All of them had supported me so much when I first left this place. As I started to scan the crowd I seen a even more familiar face, Jazzy. I smiled to her she returned it to me with a thumbs up. I shifted my attention back to my Uncle and paid close attention as we started a song that we always played together.

Close to the end of the show my Uncle told the crowd that I would preform a song from my album. We didn’t plan this, but I wasn’t going to turn it down. I went up to the main microphone with my guitar handle in hand, “What song ya’ll wanna hear?” I said smiling. Surprisingly so many songs we’re yelled out and I couldn’t believe they knew all of them. I put my hand up to my ear, “Did I hear Grenade?” They all started to cheer on and   I smiled as I started strumming the tune. I focused hard as on what I was playing and bobbed my head. I looked back up to the crowd one more time before I started to sing,

As I finished the song the small crowd cheered for me and started to chant my name. I did a small dance as I took it all in, it was a unexplainable feeling. “I wanna thank you all for coming out tonight and may we all wish the best for Bruno here!” my Uncle Johnny said grabbing me by my shoulders. I smiled to all of them as they clapped and cheered for me for the last time. I helped get things packed up as the bar started to become empty again. “Hey.. stranger..” I heard a voice say from behind me. I turned around to Jazzy smiling at me from behind the small bar between the stage and the floor. I finished pushing my guitar into it’s case, “What’s up?” She shrugged, “Nothing.. I have to say that was an amazing show..” “Better then the one you went to before?” “I actually don’t know.. they both we’re pretty good..” “Damn you went from amazing to pretty good? I must suck.” I said joking a bit. She waved me off, “You know you’re good.. you don’t need me to tell you that.” I went up to the bar and stood in front of her, “So.. you got time to have a drink with me?” she took a deep breath, “Maybe..” “Come on I won’t bite..” I said putting my hands in my pockets.

She shrugged again, “I guess.” I smiled as I turned to my Uncle Johnny. “You mind if I have a drink?” He looked down to his watch, “I got to get going in like 5 minutes..” “Damn..” “You’re an adult you can get home..” he said smirking. I shrugged, “You’re right..” I started to turn back around but he called my name. “Yeah?” “Remember what I told you..” he said almost at a whispered. I nodded quickly, “Yeah.” “Alright man.. I’ll see you in the morning.” “See ya’ later.” I said walking around. Me and Jazzy went over and took seats at the bar and ordered drinks. “Soo…” I said as we finished ordering. She looked around, “Sooo…” I laughed a bit, “Say something..”  ”I don’t know what to say honestly..” she said softly. I tiled my head a bit as I thought to myself, “Tell me about yourself.” She laughed, “Me? Alright.. you got 2 hours?” I laughed a bit as I adjusted my hat, “It’ll take that long?” She nodded. “Damn..” I said with a sly smile. “You know what.. I got time..” I said nodding.

We went on talking for the next 20 minutes about life in general, we both started knocking down the drinks and before I knew it I was ordering my 3rd one. She put her glass on the counter, “I’m done.” she said her face a bit disgusted. “I see I’m drinking with a rookie..” She shot me a look, “Far from that sir.” I laughed and threw my hands up, “Alright alright I see you.” She just shook her head, “You’re just too much..” I shook mine as well, “I get that all the time.” I started playing with the sleeves of my shirt, “What are you doing when you leave here?” She looked up to me, I was unsure if it was a good look or a bad one…….
